My DS has had his application completed since October including a nomination from his NJROTC instructor and his DOBMERB. He found out that he is color deficient during his exam. He is also being recruited by one of the minor sport coach's. I have a couple of questions:
1) His Application status states: Complete Pending Review, and under Required Actions it says: Complete Medical Qualification Exam. The coach has stated that DS has been applied for a "waiver", but the Application status does not reflect that. Is there something else he should be doing or does he trust his coach.
2) Since he will need a waiver, when does USNA let students know that they have qualified. I quess what I am really asking is what is the drop dead date that USNA lets students know if they have an appointment or not. The DS has a number of other coaches that want him to commit, but the USNA is his first priority.
Thank you for your help.
