I contacted my Alo about a week ago, and he still has not replied. Yesterday I followed up with another email incase he did not see my first one. About how long on average does an Alo take to reply?

Most ALOs are busy people, mine took approx 4-5 days to respond. They are a good resource to have, but in my opinion, what is more important is to be able to get into contact with your evaluator ALO as they will be giving the interview. All in all, don't stress, they will respond eventually and most likely just want to know where you are in the process and a little about you, at least that was the situation with me.

A great question and the answer, as "hochwaldevan" mentioned is: who knows? Some are immediate, some take days, and sadly some take longer. If it's been a week and you've sent a follow-up, give it five or so days more. If you hit two weeks with nothing, then send an email up to your counseling team (they're listed in your portal, either TEAM BLUE or SILVER) and explain that you're having trouble contacting your mentor ALO. Give them the name and email (phone too if it's listed).

When they receive an email like that, things happen.

And yes, sometimes it's just "life happens." I have 75 "mentor" candidates listed on my ALOWEB. I know one or two have been added and I probably missed them. So I check, a LOT. That's just me. Two weeks...that's too long, IMHO.
