Does the mentor ALO have any pull with admissions to get you in the academy? Other then guiding you through the process. Has anyone heard of the mentor calling admissions and having a say in the process?
 
No. The evaluator ALOs do an interview and a report, but in all but the most EXTREME cases, they have zero impact on the decision-making process. There are a couple of ALOs on here who can provide more guidance.

I know the evaluator does that, but the mentor ALO seems involved and knows more about me. Sometimes the mentor makes me feel he has a say or has pull at admissions with who gets accepted. So you say the mentor has no pull and ALO evaluator does an interview with a report and never is heard of again.
 
T37IP answered your question. You might not like it, but he is correct.

Focus on your package and qualifications. The ALO’s can be great informational sources, but their job is not to get you in or keep you out.

What impact does the ALO Evaluator interview have on you receiving an appointment if you do well or poorly during the interview?
