What are your average mile times? I want to know what to shoot for for this fall in NROTC...
Never look for the avg. always aim for the max points. I believe the max mile run is 5:30 for guys.
What you should do is continue practicing the PFT. in all types of weather and following their regs for the break periods. Running is only one part of the PFT.
You should also do it at the wee hours of the morning, because some cadets perform lower due to exhaustion... in other words go to bed at your normal time and wake up about 5:30.
Ask your school
Army ROO told us in April the fastest time out of all the present cadets, which was a helpful thing to know and a great motivator to surpass that time and attempt to make a strong first impression.
Thanks for the info. I was wondering more of for morning workouts, not for the PFT, b/c I don't want to be last in the pack or anything.
