Here's a post for all candidates still working on their application during their senior year: don't give up! Even though deadlines creep up on you and threaten to strangle your entire future, you can still do it!
Don't forget where your dreams lie: at USAFA. It takes a lot of work to get there, and it takes even more work to apply there! Just keep it up and remember that it's a marathon and not a sprint.

I'm writing this as motivation for others but also for myself, since I haven't been getting much positive reinforcement. I just want to have a thread of positivity in this incredibly strenuous and stressful process.

@KansasMan, well done with this post. You’re a real team player. You know the cliche: Nothing worth truly having comes easy (or something like that).

Fill your time and use your nervous energy by working on nominations, Plan B and, oh yeah, enjoying your senior year. Another cliche: Senior year goes by really fast. Savor this time with friends and family, because this time next year, hopefully at USAFA, you’ll really miss them.

That's the spirit, Zoomie-hopeful! :)

Good luck.

KansasMan, I applaud your motivation.....keep up the hard work. Not to sound like a broke record, but do keep a plan B,C, and D going also, as hard as it might be during the senior year.
