not to make a cliche post, but i would really like to get some insight on how to better improve my chances of being accepted. Ok, to start off, im 15, and a sophomore in high school. Im in JROTC and im an active member of all the teams except marksmanship (raiders, drill team, color guard and even a team that my school made that is called "excel team" which is basically a team that helps if an event in our community needs volunteers.) i'm taking relatively difficult classes right now (Calculus H. namely) and next year ill be taking even harder ones (AP Calculus, AP US history, English 3 H., and Phyisics H. this summer, along with JROTC and Constitutional Law H.) im also going to be drill team commander my senior year (the official drill team commander for next year already told me this for sure.) one of my major issues i believe will be my sports. I know the USNA takes sports very seriously, but with JROTC and my classes next year, i wont be able to do any sports because of the lack of time and interference of drill team (which is the exact time as one of the only sports i could join for sure.) i am also well in the top 3rd of my class and have maintained above a 4.0 GPA since the beginning of my freshman year. so that's about it, what do you guys think are my chances and/or what do i need to improve? any feedback would be greatly appreciated
