Hi everyone, I wanted some input on my chances of being offered a NAPS appointment.

-I already have a nomination.
-Four soccer Varsity letters including team captain senior year.
-150+ volunteer hours
-Senior class officer
6/8 senior year classes are AP or DE
-GPA 3.7 (last semesters GPA was a 4.25)
Sat scores: Math 590 Writing/Reading 610
-Member of Beta club, History club, Foreign language club, and DECA
-Not an Eagle Scout, but spent several years in the BSA
-Extremely determined to attend USNA

I feel as if my SAT scores might be a little low, which is why I was thinking NAPS.

None of know or can tell your chances based upon a dozen data points. Yes, your SAT scores are below average, but it doesn't mean you are out of the game. Bottom line, you are in the game until you get a TWE. If you have done all you can to submit your strongest application then you have done what you can.

Thanks for the reply. Also, do you know if my SAT scores well below average?

Did you open up the class of 2020 profile and compare them?

Well since I am not going to break down stats with medians tonight, yeah close should work. It's still on the lower side. I would expect that means USNA would look heavily at your math classes, school profile, teacher recommendations too.
