My ALO told me that the current PT uniforms aren't great.

I think those jackets look pretty ill. The blue ones with the white/silver lines across the front. Would any c4c+ recommend that we bring ipods to I-day and get them back after beast so that we could use them for PTs in the morning? or no? This should probably be a new thread or a pre-existing one but- what SHOULD we bring with us on I-day (other than razors and deoderant) that you think you would have liked to have during/after beast...I doubt my parents will be able to fly for parent's weekend so I don't know how long it would be before I get to have any of my stuff.
He's right, they take up all ipods until recognition. Actually they won't even allow itunes to be on your computer. From what i've heard, the only way around the music rule is to bring an external hard drive with music already on it and you can use windows media player.

Haha WOW. I'm screwed then because my music is only on my ipod. My computer's hard drive had to be deleted and so the only way I could listen to music on my computer is through ipod>itunes. bummer.
But yea, I think you guys are right. Oh well, I should probably just take it with me after winter break.
I don't know about the external hhd vs. flash memory, but remeber hearing something about it in one of the other 7300 posts. But unitedstatesAFA2013, you can transfer the music on your ipod to your computer, if for some reason your hdd crashed (didn't even know that still happens on pcs these days). All you have to do is show hidden files on your ipod, from My Computer, and there'll be a file called "ipod_control", with all music, movies, podcasts, etc. After you have your library reestablished, newer versions of iTunes allows you to back up your music library, allowing to reinstate your library in case your hdd crashes again.
I think they said external drives are good, but flash drives are not? I'm not sure, though, someone else can confirm.
That can't be true. There has to be USB ports, lol.My friend told me that there wasn't a place on the computer they give you to put flash drive in.
