Next Navy QB!!!

College football is done as we knew it. It’s professional minor league with no salary cap and every player is a free agent. There’s a good argument to be made that players should be monetarily compensated but it’s past time to dump the term “student athlete”. It’s always been a toy for alumni boosters. The path forward is to separate football from the college and have the affiliation be a licensing agreement in which the school trades on their name and likeness , rents their facilities, and perhaps takes a percentage of the merch. We’re kind of there already.
To wit, University of Florida is under NCAA investigation a year after a failed name, image and likeness deal worth more than $13 million with former signee Jaden Rashada.

... so what? nothing shocks me anymore...
... even a walk-on player can expect a $50,000.00 payday, $18,000.00 more than a 1st year teacher's salary in my home state.

Pretty sure direct recruit. No dummy. I am also a Steel-high Roller grad and somewhat familiar with him
He was a former student of mine for multiple years, so I know he and his twin brother pretty well (former teacher at the school). He is an excellent and very respectful student. It didn't shock me to see him commit to Navy.

He will represent the school well off the field. A bit TBD on the field against competition, but with his poise and work ethic, he has the ability.

This guy is the real deal - PA state champion QB. From my hometown.

Did he go to NAPS or change his college choice? I didn't see his name on depth chart. Just curious if he was stashed at NAPS for the year.

I'm currently playing football with this guy here at NAPS, can say he's definitely gonna make a name for himself here at Navy.
