Hello everyone,

My medical status is currently REMEDIAL with R120.00 (no physician appointment required) for my right ear cauliflower that I got from wrestling. I didn't visit a doctor because it was expensive, so I let it heal naturally, and it did. It's hardened over weeks and does not cause any pain whatsoever. It's not covering my ear hole either so my hearing isn't affected.

So do I just mail dodmerb with a paper explaining that there's no record to show? Also, is that a chance of disqualification? Thank you.

Just my personal opinion, but I would have your doctor write a letter stating it has healed completely and causes no limitations to serve in the military and won't limit physical activity in anyway. If you reported it on DODMERB form, they assume a doctor was seen to officially diagnose. They will want something or the remedial won't be cleared.

I would recommend contacting DoDMERB and asking what they would like you to do. My guess is if it says no appointment necessary then they aren't looking for further information at this time.
