Well the title did say Ice Breakers and the Article was about Ice Breakers so I assumed it was about Ice Breakers.

Not sure I saw any sarcasm, That was what was promised.

I consider the "10-11 million" undocumented foreign nationals to be a hostile threat to our national elections. I also believe both Republicans and Democrats have been complacent to allow this to happen. Sanctuary city's are now allowing those foreign nationals to vote....and I guess those congressional representatives will feel that those foreign nationals are their constituents who deserve the equal representation of a citizen.

I think its always important to read past the headline and into the detail of the article. Facts don't have feelings.
 
Ok I'm lost here, the details of the article were about Ice Breakers, the OP simply stated a fact and referenced an article that was again, about Ice Breakers. My opinion, we need them. I'll leave any other details to you.
 
The article implies the funding for an icebreaker may be withheld pending a successful vote that would pay for amongst other things a border wall. Lurking Quietly, did Trump say “ We are going to make Mexico pay for that wall” or not?

My point was your post was never really about ice breakers, it was about a boarder wall. I'm not sure you care about the CG. My son was stationed on the Polar Star/Polar Sea 8 years ago when they pulled them side by side in a Seattle shipyard and started the cannibalization. This isn't a new problem, but a can that's been kicked down the road for a decade. I have two children in the CG, and one more at the CGA, so I've got skin in on this game.

If you don't think a border wall is necessary, super, vote in a Representative that will implement another solution. Or if you feel there should be no border, state that. Maybe you feel we should get rid of ICE, and use that money for an ICE Breaker.
