No Nomination, Still Haven't Heard Back....

So I do not have a nomination to West Point and I plan on attending Greystone Prep this fall; however, I still have yet to receive a TWE email from West Point. Is there still a possibility of a prep school slot without a nomination? My friend got into AFA's Prep school without a nomination but he was a recruited wrestler...
 
We spoke to officials at MMI last night and according to them there are still more scholarships that will be handed out. My DS's RC discussed a scholarship with him back in early March, but we've seen no updates to his portal

Would also be interested in any response from RC you may receive. DS has nomination but has received nothing in the mail, no BFE or TWE, has no changes to portal and has not received any response to emails sent to RC. He's moved to plan B, but would be nice to know something

There are AOG recipients now receiving direct appointments so if they were all given out they are now opening up.

Bing, did your DS receive notice he is 3Q?
 
DS has received nothing. His portal is completely green with a strong file full of academic and athletic recommendations and he is physically qualified. But USMA is Silent. Have not received one letter from WP except for a request for more information back in November. Radio silence since then. I'm so proud of him, he did all of this himself with no guidance and no military background when he was a SENIOR (that's when they recruited at DS' high school) and DS took it upon himself to meet with the RC. He's worked really hard and had an excellent experience with the Congressional office before getting nominated. File is complete, but nothing since then, and nothing now.

Wow, your son sounds like an impressive, self-motivated young man. What state are you in? My son is also waiting to hear yay or nay, although he has had substantial communication with his RC. We are in Michigan, Great Lakes region.
 
We are in FL. DS received an email from congressman's office yesterday saying he would likely receive TWE next week :( not what we wanted to hear but at least we can move on and get excited about Plan B with some closure now.
