No Result Yet From Summer Seminar

Hello,

Ever since I submitted my application to the Summer Seminar, my portal shows "Congratulations! Your application is under review". I have seen people post on these forums that they have been accepted/rejected, but I have not received any word. I contacted USAFA admissions and they said that my portal shows everything I need. Does this mean I was not accepted to the Summer Seminar? I haven't received any emails or notifications about the Summer Seminar, so I'm very confused about my application.
What does the portal show if someone is rejected or accepted?
I appreciate any help.
 
That means you are still in running, and have not yet been accepted nor rejected. The deadline to accept and send in paper work for the applicants that received invitation to SS (came out last Friday) was today. Hang in there; they will let you know soon. The decision will be posted on your portal.
 
A word of support, DS was not selected for Summer Seminar last year and he was given a slot to USAFAPS this year so Heatherg21 is 100% correct. Good luck but don't let a "not selected" discourage you on your path to USAFA.

Exactly. Our son was not selected for NASS, luckily he had attended summer STEM which is when he fell in love with the campus and the labs. And he did receive an appointment 8 months after NASS turndown.
STEM and NASS are a mechanism for the academy to expose a broad number of kids from across the country and some under represented areas to the academy. Nothing more.
