Ok, so I have posted on here previously that the Senator Hutchison' staffer from TX told us that her office will not nominate anyone who already has a nom from the other Senator or their Representative. Staffer even went so far as to explain that by doing so they would be giving more kids chances for appointment.
So, son got nom from MOC in Dec. Late this afternoon, he gets call from Senator Hutchison's office saying he got a nomination from her as well.
What a relevation. Politicians can change their minds! Curious process, for sure!
