Nomination Timing

I would imagine that every MOC and Senator push out their nominations at their own pace or calendar, but does anyone know if there's a "normal" or expected decision timing? Our MOC hasn't made any decision yet, nor has the Senator with him our DS has the best shot (and by that I mean long shot, but at least a shot!). Have most of your MOCs or Senators already made their nominations, or are most people still waiting?

Slates aren't due to the academy until Jan 31. Many wait until ymthat timeframe... certainly late Jan.

MOCs have officially until Jan 31st to submit their noms. "Most" will submit them before that. Many are still waiting. Also many may have been informed by their MOC already, but haven't officially submitted them.

We are still waiting on congressman. DD has interview in January.

good luck to everyone waiting for nominations. this is our 4th college applicant -- 2nd to a military academy -- and like the academy itself, the processes couldn't be any more different. soooo many more hoops, but so proud of the kid for trying. [proud of your kids, too, by the way. this country is in good hands when so many smart and dedicated people compete to serve.]
