nomination - usna checklist

if the nomination part on the USNA application has a check next to it, is that signifiying that i have had my interview or have i received a nomination and just do not know yet?

sorry if this is annoying but, i had my interview the 18th and it says USNA received the 21st... are you sure it means i was nominated? i have a feeling it is signifying i have been interviewed. i am also a recruited athlete, might have something to do with that

No worries at all. The portal only checks when something has been completed, meaning you have completed the requirement of a nomination.

cool. so now that i have a nom, do i just wait for the official email that i got it?
 
Yes, DS found out the same way...by noting a date and check on the portal progress page. No notification by MOC until a week or two later.

Mine never received any notification from either senator or congressman. Got nominate by all three. Congrats on your nomination!

May I ask what is your state?
 
does anyone know why my nomination is checked off on the list, but now the source of nomination is gone that was previously there yesterday? below is what was in my portal yesterday, now it is gone but nomination is still checked off on the list

Congrats. My DD '28 just received and email from the Congressman stating she had been nominated. She logged in and it shows a Check next to "Nomination" as of this morning! She is super excited too. Congrats! (From Georgia District 6)
 
IT challenges are always there. If you have a check mark, I wouldn't sweat it as to why it doesn't list the specific one in real time.
