If you take a look at the appointment thread for the class of 2022, you can see when a reasonable sampling of when the appointments were offered last year - https://www.serviceacademyforums.co...lass-of-2022-appointment-thread.58964/page-23. We are still in the early stages of appointments for the class of 2023 - good luck.

Our RC told us to be very patient because this year's appointments will not go out until end of February. They changed their admissions procedures and unless you are a recruited athlete, you will not hear anything before then. Has anyone else heard this?

I was told the same by an admissions RC during my DS overnight visit.

@Saralee, it’s semantics but worth noting nonetheless: What you’re awaiting is offer of appointment. The actual appointment takes place on R-Day/I-Day, when the candidates take the oath of office and sign the paperwork, not necessarily in that order. (And yes, each year a few who receive offer of appointment don’t ultimately achieve actual appointment, for a variety of reasons.)
