DS completed his NROTC application in mid August with all of his supporting documentation (rec letters, transcripts, etc.) in early September. His status stated that his application was complete and was at NETC for selection determination—until today.
Then, this morning DS received an email stating his application has been unsubmitted (that was the exact wording). Now, when logging into NROTC website he can open his application, which is fully completed, and waiting for submission. Very bizarre. This same application was completed and submitted months ago and waiting to be boarded with previous confirmation of the same.
Do not understand how or why this happened. Do not know what triggered this. He has contacted his local recruiter and emailed the folks at NROTC to determine why this happened and what can be done to remedy it. He worked diligently to get his application done as early as possible and receiving this email stating his application is unsubmitted is real blow. Hoping it is just a ‘one off’ glitch that can be corrected.
Has anybody on this forum had this happen or have any suggestions. Many thanks...
