Could someone please post the NROTC Board Review Schedule again. I cannot find the schedule. Thank you
 
@Skye Here's last year's schedule you can use for reference. Found this a while back from another member's post on another thread. @NavyNOLA also has A TON of great info regarding NROTC dates and NROTC as a whole. Hope this helps!

Nothing has been posted showing this year's dates. But, so far this year they have been similar to last year's.
 
Results for the NROTC Navy option scholarship board held 9-12 JAN should be released on or about Monday, 23 FEB. The next board is not scheduled to take place until 6-10 FEB, with results expected on or about 24 FEB.
 
Is this for certain? Also how will applicants hear back? Will it be on the status page or through email? Thanks!

Yes, the information is accurate. Scholarship selection info can be found on an applicant's NETFOCUS account.
 
Now if only we could get some response from the recruiters in Philly. It is extremely frustrating when they won't reply to emails or phone calls. All my DS has left to complete his application is his interview.

Call up the first choice school/unit and ask for a Skype officer interview. Most will have no problem providing one.

Does anyone know if the applicants information was suppose to be sent to DoDMERB? I finished my application in December and NROTC has still not appeared in my DoDMERB portal. Will my information only be sent if I receive a scholarship?
 
NavyBrat, different from the Service Academies, you are only invited to DoDMERB if you are selected. So, don't worry now...just pray that you get the green light and keep working hard during your senior year and working out!

DrMom, do you mean that you are only invited to DoDMERB if they plan on selecting you for a scholarship?
 
Yes, that is exactly what I mean. You do not receive the invitation to DoDMERB until after you are notified of your ROTC scholarship selection. What does this mean? It means you might receive a scholarship--and then lose it if you are found to not be medically qualified. It is important NOT to worry about that possibility--in the pantheon of limited brain space, there are other, bigger, better alligators closer to the canoe. (For the service academies, it is the opposite, you must be medically qualified before you can be selected to attend.)
 
does anyone know what time the portal is usually updated? I believe I should have been reviewed this time by the board and I haven't heard anything today.
 
NavyNOLA. Last year FY16 board dates listing (from above) had a board date of Jan 25-Jan29, but you stated the next board is not until Feb 6-10. Did they eliminate the last board date in January this year?

FY 16 = Fall 2015-Spring 2016. That was last year.
