NROTC Marine Option 2nd board

Congratulations! Hearing that it can be done gives me a lot of hope (but also makes me even more nervous!)

Was it a 4 year? And if so what part of the country are you in? If you don't mind me asking
 
Congratulations majorcarte. Sounds like the results of the second board are beginning to trickle out.
 
My DS received the phone call with good news late this afternoon. We are so proud of him and both excited and nervous about what this means.

@semperfi50: Yes, it was a 4-year. I am in North Carolina. Don't know which school yet. DS got into his first, fourth and fifth choices -- we are really hoping he is assigned to his first choice.
 
Does anyone else have a copy of the sideload board results stat sheet?
 
DS's portal changed mid day and identified his school selection. He was awarded the scholarship to his second choice school (OOS) which worked out well for him. He did not get accepted to his first choice which was a reach. Can't wait to see him tonight and celebrate his accomplishment.
