Just checking to see if anyone has heard back from the NROTC-MO boards that happened a few weeks ago? (just curious since NROTC applicants are hearing from their boards from last week). Thank you!

The Navy option boards and the Marine option boards are totally separate, independent, and have different schedules. Folks hearing from one implies absolutely nothing for the other. People usually hear MO picks mid to late Dec (at least in past years). Good luck!

Last year results came out mid to late December and 2nd Board in late March/early April.

My coordinator says that you can get results as early as 15 November and later than 15 December. Its just a waiting game now

The results will likely vary between districts. All the district board results have to go through multiple levels of review. Most likely the results will be released the first or second week of December.

My DD met with her recruiter and just found out that she was selected for an NROTC - MO scholarship. I'm very happy with the process and support that the Marine Corps gives their applicants. They were professional throughout the process.

Congratulations how exciting! Do you mind me asking what district you are in?

Congratulations to your DD. She must be an impressive young lady to hear news from the first board.

Congratulations to your DD. Great news! What schools is she considering?

Thank you very much. She is excited. I know that when she was looking at schools she listed the Univ of Arizona, Arizona State, and the Univ of New Mexico.

Thank you very much. Like all of the applicants on this board, she definitely has put a lot of time and effort into preparing for this process. Ultimately, we are well aware of how competitive the scholarship pool is, and she is grateful that she was selected.

What was your PFT and how did your interview go? Love hearing about others’ experience.
For sure! My PFT ended up being a 290 (missed 2 pull-ups) And the interview went really smoothly, I was actually the only person that showed up since it was an early processing day, so the interview lasted a little bit over an hour, they asked all the common questions and then the conversation turned to their experiences in the corps and my background. I'm not sure that it was exactly a typical interview but hopefully this helps. What about you?

Scored a 292, had around a dozen guys and 1 female. Interview went well, however due to the number of applicants, interviews typically lasted 20-30 minutes. Anyways, couldn’t be happier for you mate!
