I know everyone is posting their stats and wondering if they have a chance and since I have no one that has gone through this before I'm wondering how my stats compare.
I have:
-1920 SAT (660 math, 650 reading, 610 writing)
-3.5 gpa but that will go up some in midyear grades.
-I'm a Certified Nursing aide and lifeguard.
- I am in the Commonwealth Governor's School, a half day public school magnet program for higher level classes
-I have/am taking 9 AP classes and one AP test without the class (have taken 5 AP tests and got AP Scholar with Honor Award.)
-also have taken two Dual Enrollment college classes
-four year varsity swimmer
-vice president of my Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) chapter
-I'm well within Navy height and weight restrictions with no disqualifying conditions.
I'm really freaking out about this scholarship because I really want to do this and go to my first choice school (Catholic University of America which is a cross town affiliate of George Washington). Even if I don't get the scholarship though i still want to do ROTC and Nursing.
