NROTC Scholarship Board April 4-8

Would the results be on NETFOCUS? When I logged on it just showed me the application packet. There was no place to see results.

As a fellow Nurse hopeful Dad, can’t wait to hear your journey. From what you’ve said previous, it’s a safe bet to say your son will be successful, wherever he chooses to continue his education. Best of luck.

My DS has DECLINED his Navy NROTC Scholarship- NURSE Option. If you are a Nurse Option alternate check the portal repeatedly today.
In another thread I will post our Navy ROTC - Nurse Option journey.
I'm interested to hear about it! Have you posted yet? I can't find....

Good Evening,
Does anyone know how soon notification will go out for the NROTC board that occurred last week? My daughter is trying to see if she will have a decision back before the schools’ May 1 deadline.
My daughter’s status finally updated today. She did not get a scholarship but will enroll as a programmer at the school she chose and try again there. Thanks to everyone for their input!

Same here. My son finally received word that he did not receive a four year scholarship either, but plan B and C are set into motion now for the college program at his second choice school. Appreciate the valuable info and encouragement on this site. This NROTC page has been our life line these past six months. Thank you!

@RetroAndMore & @madrecristiana - great attitudes! We were in your shoes one year ago - tough to hear the news but DS did exactly what your kids are doing. Actually, the majority of the 4/Cs are not on scholarship @ his school. It’s not over yet, but the year has been pretty good. He’s done well in his unit - good PT scores & different leadership positions held. I get sappy here, but it’s been a pleasure to watch him become so self-reliant & grow as much as he has. And, he seems to really enjoy the program. We hope he hears good news re: a sideload scholarship this summer but even if he doesn’t, I will have absolutely no disappointment on how this year went. Man, it went fast! Good luck 🍀 to your kiddos!

Thank you so much! @Boymomof3 wishing your DS the very best!

I have heard that formal letters will be sent in the mail for those non-selected. This means folks should be looking at fallback plans or deciding if they want to sign up as a College Programmer without a scholarship and try for the sideload option.

it isn't completely over, but I just felt it's worth managing expectations so people aren't constantly refreshing their computers. tellculvers com survey taco bell breakfast hours

I am very fortunate and blessed to have received a 4-Year National NROTC scholarship, but declined it, I'm going with my 4-Year Type-1 AFROTC instead, I hope and pray the Navy gives it to someone who didn't get it.
