I was awarded an NROTC Scholarship last week to Boston University. If I accept the scholarship, am I still able to change my placement unit after I accept it?

Yes, although I don't know what the deadline to do so is.

My daughter switched hers after accepting (in the end she went AFROTC though). My son is at BU and it's great school. And it is very ROTC friendly. There will be some room and board money for you as a ROTC cadet if you choose to go there. Good luck!

I was also assigned to BU before I transferred units! You can change your host unit by filling out a transfer request form. It should be in the email congratulating you on nrotc scholarship. If you can't find it, you can find it on their website. Get it done ASAP because the other unit may be close to filling up!!
