I submitted my application in early august and I was wondering if anybody knew when the selection boards are. My netfocus says: Your application is at Naval Education and Training Command for final processing and selection determination. Selection decisions will begin in late August and continue until the end of April. Once a selection decision has been made, your new status will be reflected. If anybody has a clue let me know. Thank you.

If you applied Navy Option, believe it or not, the dates appear to be a closely held secret. They are almost never posted here so don't get your hopes too high. They generally start sometime in September and occur monthly through April (I think). If you applied Marine Option, there are only two boards. As I recall one is in mid-late November and the results usually come out just before Christmas. I think the second is in late February and results are generally out in late March or early April. DS did not get a negative reply until early April. In fact most folks won't get a negative reply until sometime in the spring for any option. Only awardees are notified, others just roll over into the next board.

    Keep working plans B, C, D, and E.
