Hi I am currently part of the NROTC Program at Virginia Tech and I am currently applying to the Academy. I wanted to know my chances?
I am applying from the Annapolis District, that is where I am currently a resident from. I applied for a Senator nomination and his results don't come until the 31'st of January. I also applied for the NROTC nomination, and wont here for 1-2 weeks on that. I currently have a presidential nomination. I am also triple qualified and have my application completed. I got no C's my first semester in college as an engineer and received a 3.17 GPA taking Chemistry, Calculus 2, Engineering lab and class, First-Year Writing, Leadership, and Intro to Naval Science. Also my second time applying.
In high school I earned my Private Pilots license when I was 17, I also have an Advanced scuba qualification. I was a three sport varsity athlete in high school: Football, Wrestling, and Track and field. I was part of Math Honors Society, National Honors Society, and the chess club. I also tested out of Calculus Based Physics in college, Statistics as well as Calculus 1. I was wondering what type of chances you have with a triple qualification, and presidential? Also if the NROTC nomination is very competitive or not? Also what "Complete Pending Review" means for me? If it is a good or bad thing?
