NSI Gear and Uniform Issue

In looking at the packing list for NSI, the MIDS are not required to bring very much. Is there a list of the uniforms and other items that are issued at NSI?

Dont know what they hand out. Rest assured that if they didn't tell you to bring it, they will either issue it or you don't need it. If you have specific questions you should check with the unit. Of course bring any prescription meds if they are not on the list.

They issued branch appropriate workout gear (including running shoes), dress uniform (white hat to black shoes) and utility uniforms, a pair of boots, socks and underwear, and seabag to bring it all back home in. They bought their toiletries there.

DS was fully equipped when he returned. Bought better socks and running shoes
