So I'm going to get the last word in and then close down this thread.
This forum has had some growing pains in the past 3+ years of its existence, but for the past 2 years has been a place of great knowledge. We have had our share of disagreements, but I never recall any of the quoted post happening. If you feel that this is how the forum is run, please feel free to PM me.
I appreciate all the posts and viewpoints that are made, as long as they don't become personal attacks. I may not agree with what everyone says, but if they are able to make a case without slamming someone there is no reason to remove it.
We, the administrative staff, are working to make this a forum where applicants and thier parents can come to get information regarding applying to a SA or ROTC program, as wells as navigating the complex DoDMERB process. We have added the off topic and academy/military news sections to provide a place where we can have civil discussions on topics that directly affect the military and academies. If we, and by "we" I mean everyone who visits this forum, cannot have rational discussions on issues that affect the applicants to SA's or ROTC programs, the service members who are currently serving, and the ones who have served, then these options will go away.
