Can I just say how cool it is to listen to the Mids cheering each other on at the Olympic Trials!!! And the broadcasters do a really good job of saying nice things about the Midshipmen and their commitment to serve our country. Congrats to all 23 men for making it to the trials and to those who will advance on to Wave 2. Three lady Mids are also at the trials, but I haven't had a chance to catch their swims yet.
Oh, and the whole body goosebumps when Johnson and McGovern went 1 and 2 in the 800 meter freestyle? Epic, storybook stuff there.
