I am anticipating saying goodbye to my DS one month from today at the USNA. Without this forum, I think I would be having a much more difficult time with this, however, reading the posts from other parents that have helped each other along the way gives me much comfort.
I am not sure about the rest of you, but watching my DS struggle from afar and not being able to help is going to take more counsel than just my husband can provide I am glad to know that I will have many "shoulders" to cry on...and hopefully will provide a shoulder for someone else. It will also be great to share the many successes we will see along the way...we are sending our children off to the most amazing place and I know we are going to see unbelievable changes in them!!
Let's all enjoy the next month with our sons and daughters and I look forward to getting to know all of you over the next 4 years...we are very lucky parents (and maybe there was some skill involved in our parenting too)
