All 2016 parents on this forum are strongly encouraged to seek out the Parents Club in your area. Your ALO should have contact information. Also, most clubs will be hosting a pre-I-Day event or picnic for incoming appointees and their families. For example, in Northern California our club we'll also be hosting the Ops Cadets from Beale AFB so that they can offer their wisdom and advice. (June 10, 11:00am to 3:00 at Orangevale Park.) Throughout the year, most Parent's Clubs have a handful of events that offer an opportunity for parent's to get information, trade stories, and become part of the Air Force family.
