My DS is scheduled for Basic Camp in July, and his cadre gave him instructions on getting reimbursed for the plane ticket. I was planning to get the ticket today. However, today he showed me an email with his itinerary through DTS, and saying an e-ticket will be sent three days before departure. Doesn't that mean it's been paid for by DTS or CTO?

You shouldn't be buying a ticket...one should be provided. Not sure why someone told him to buy one and get reimbursed.
