In January he had 3Q and then DoDMERB asked for a photo of his acne on his back. He sent the photo in with a description of what he uses to help clear it up (over the counter topical) and since March 1, 2019, his status says, "pending waiver submission/review". I might add that his acne now is mostly cleared up, but USNA asked no further questions. He has no LOA, at least as far as I know, and he would not qualify for NAPS. As of this moment, nothing on his status has changed. I have read many threads saying that USNA does not automatically request a waiver. This entire process is like hearing nails on a chalkboard over and over again. I am so glad this is my youngest child and I don't have live through this ever again. With my daughter (9 years ago) it was waiting to see which school would give her a full-ride athletic scholarship. This process has been much more painful.
My question remains, "What does his status mean." I would think if they didn't want him they would have sent a TWE by now.
