Probably looking at a LONG stretch in Leavenworth
I have not heard that either Trump, Biden or Pence ever disseminated any of the classified material in their possession. This guy did. That is a very significant differenceBased on the news reports so far, I suspect this guy is going to be "made example of" and have the book thrown at him. Now I'm not saying he isn't guilty and doesn't deserve punishment including jail after a trial. I'm just thinking about all the times recently politicians(as there have been a few) haing been found with top secret documents not secured and nothing will ever happen to them. Just wish the rule of law was more of a rule rather than a suggestion.

What is your source? One of them did
I saw an email that had classified documentWhat is your source?
Nope this is an attack on the US “deep state”. By a “deep state” fighting patriot.Boy, I sure hope the data isn’t on a laptop, or we will never get to the bottom of this. Have intelligence officials considered that it could be Russian disinformation?
The fringe was out yesterday with Tucker Carlson, “What’s happening to this leaker now is what happens to anyone who contradicts the National Security State and their obedient servants in the media. You go to prison..”Nope this is an attack on the US “deep state”. By a “deep state” fighting patriot.
And soon no doubt some of those on the fringe of our political parties will come out in support of him for attacking the “deep state”
Then there will be arguments about who is the real enemy, The US govt of course in the eyes of the fringe .
And then questions about why we are supporting Ukraine anyway
Give it time.
I have spent a lot of time on enlisted (formers mostly) forumsMy favorite part about this article is the headline referring to him as a "gun enthusiast."
I mean, come on, it's quite obvious that gun enthusiast are the most likely to disseminate classified documents. I would say gun enthusiasts, and, those who love barbecue, are probably the most obvious.
Imagine being the CO of a ship, or worse submarine, and you're trying to keep quiet your position, next port call, timing, mission, etc which is a HUGE security must-do... and you have 1 sailor, or 30, who tell their spouse or buddy when they'll hear from them again, or be home or literally anything. And that spreads like wildfire on social media. Many a ship have had to go dark and delay homecoming plans because people can't follow rules. Then everyone suffers, so frustrating.Social media - it is just destroying young people. In so many levels. But people are too selfish to give it up. I’d happily give up SAF and all of it -not a big user anyway. But the cat is out of the bag and it is vicious and not easily dealt with. Yes I enjoy pulling out the popcorn on some of these convos but it just isn’t worth how it is destroying so many. We have a young person who is a non malicious fool-he has ruined his life and destroyed his Dad. So sad
