Pets on I-Day

Years ago while elk hunting,DS was a little Davey Crockett with his BB gun. Took aim at many a squirrel (we raised them to only take the life of something you intended to eat, something that was dying and needed your empathy, or in self defense).

The squirrels kept throwing pine cones and chattering at him from 40 feet up.

He look baffled. I will never forget my husband’s words, “ son, squirrels are viscous bas$&rds”.
 
lol my brother in law and his sons shoot squirrels from their window. They disturb my sisters garden.

I can’t kill. Even bugs.

Well, to be fair my son wasn’t successful with squirrels. He did kill, prep and cook a few rabbits.
