Is there a certain phone service that is better than the others at West Point?

All major carriers work well. The issue is when you're inside the think granite walls.

I was there last week and had tough time getting any LTE coverage with my AT&T device. 4G was available for the majority of the time but never outstanding. If you upgrade your wifi-packag on your candidate portal you should be able to use that for your device, which would obviously be of tremendous help.

A little over a year ago we switched to Sprint because the savings was huge. We researched and according to all we saw, the signal at WP should have been good (this was before DS was accepted). Unfortunately, that was not his experience; he frequently had a weak or insufficient signal. We switched back to Verizon's "we want you back" deal, and DS has a great signal. We were there this weekend for PPW and very rarely couldn't get a signal--if you are deep within the granite walls, it doesn't matter who your carrier is, you're not getting through. For day-to-day business though, Verizon is great for our son.

We have TMobile. Texting works fine most places on post but phone service is a bit spotty. It is especially bad a Keller Hosp.
