Physcial Appointment Packet

Good afternoon everyone! I just accepted my appointment to USAFA, class of 2022. I was wondering if the Academy still sends physical appointment packets to accepted appointees similar to how colleges send promotional info with an acceptance letter. I have read that they did it in years past, but with money constraints I was wondering if they still do it. Thanks!!

Congrats! That's exciting! My DS is still awaiting that day to come. Did you receive an email ? I would guess snail mail would follow soon after.

I received an email and an update on my application portal. I didn't receive any snail mail when I got my LOA, and haven't yet for the appointment (which I got on 1/16/18). It seems as if they've gone all electronic at this point (based on my experiences).

All informational correspondence is done electronically. Later on your ALO should have an official certificate in a sort of frame that they either give you or present to you at a school awards ceremony, depending on the situation.

What's not to like! Make sure you eat a lot of pizza & bagels before you go...they're not Colorado's strongest suit!

That's exactly what I plan to do. Every day bagels for breakfast, and pizza for lunch and dinner (jk, maybe if my metabolism was god-like lol)

It takes a few hours for the system to see that you have.
