Would someone send me an example of a plebe's weekly class schedule. Curious to see how many days a week each class is. Thank you.

It varies depending on the class. DD has classes that meet once, twice and three times a week. Days can be uneven, such as three classes one day and five another. You’ll carry a very heavy load: 17-19 units per semester.

This would be an example of a schedule for a Plebe who didn’t validate any courses in their Spring Semester.

Course Codes:
NS101- Seamanship
SM122- Calc 2
HE112- English 2
FP130- Government
SC112- Chem 2
NL110- Leadership

Note that half of the Plebes take Seamanship, Government and Leadership first semester while the others take Cyber and Naval History. Then they switch in the Spring. You won’t start your major courses until your 3/C year.

The above schedule is a great example. If you combine that with the sample daily schedule on the admissions website you got a what a day could like look minus things like watch, laundry delivery, chow calls, come arounds that you would also have. (Optional) PT could be mandatory as a Plebe or you could have a come around. You have more control of your daily schedule after Plebe Year and after your first semester you have more control making your schedule. If things haven’t changed, those 5th and 6th schedule blocks are after lunch. Also some classes will be 3 credits and they meet for 2-90 minute blocks so some of those could be ‘half periods’ too.

And don't forget the ProKnow (Professional Knowledge) tests! That's almost like an extra class their Plebe year!

And arguably the most stressful “class.” Often put off in favor of regular classes. Tested in person by upperclassmen. On Friday nights after a long week. N*OT COLLEGE.
