For the CFA, I have heard that you are scored on a point system. Does this mean you could potentially fail a specific event, and still pass the CFA based on points, or does failing one event fail the entire CFA? Also, Does anybody know the points system (ex. 50 pushups is 75 points?) or anything like that?

Must pass all events.

If you fail one event and score maximum on other events, you still fail the CFA.

The Admissions office don't advertise what failing scores are, even to FFRs.

They do publish maximum and average performance. So if you score average on all events, safe to assume you pass the CFA.

Okay, Thanks!

Any word on the point system at all?

CFA and WCS

The CFA accounts for 10 percent of your WCS, so practice, build up to it and do your best

Navy uses a different system which doesn't necessarily require you to pass each event; For West Point however you do need to pass each event individually or it doesn't count as passing and you WILL NOT get in if you haven't passed the CFA

Not all parts of the Navy. USMC has minimums in each portion of the test that must be met, as well as achieving a certain overall score.
