I just wanted to give all those from California the heads up on the record check. Apparently according to our state Constitution they are not allowed to forward our personal records to anyone because they are ours- so if the Navy were to request them they would have to deny the request (this is from the Sheriff's office). So they are requiring that I submit the documents myself once I receive them. Also, they will not fill out the form that the Naval Academy sent us- apparently there is a universal form for the state... but they can attach the form to what they have but not do anything with it.
I hope everyone else has better luck with their agencies!
