But generally speaking, April 15 is the big one for a final status update.

But there's also appointees who could become ineligible due to injury or other circumstances, so you never know.

NWL and MOC Notification
When candidates are offered appointmens from the National List rather than their MOC's slate, are MOC's that nominated them still given the opportunity to notify the candidate or does the candidates portal just reflect the change?
There is a lot of guessing going on here. I'll tell you what I can to remove the uncertainty.
Last week's Academy Board was the largest of the year but it is not the last. The board meets again tomorrow and the seven day clock will start again. Many of those selected tomorrow will hear from the MOCs over the next few days and the portals should go live next Wednesday. Again, do not call USAFA as the counselors are not permitted to reveal appointment information. The ALOs won't know either as their website updates the same time as the candidate portals.
Other than that expect things to be very quiet until early April (next week is spring break).

The "national list" concept is a misnomer (that's not really the way it works). To answer your question, however, yes... all appointment offers are delayed for seven days to give MOCs the opportunity to notify their candidates (regardless of whether or not the MOC is "charged" with the appointment).

The portals actually update on a daily basis (but for most candidates there is nothing to report). There are still constant changes for those with unresolved issues (medical waivers, body fat/tattoo issues, etc.).
