What a trash article. Yes, all the tangible evidence points to UKSF which is consistent with 22SAS presence in the country but CLICKS CLICKS DELICIOUS CLICKS.
 
Yet security contractors are armed in many parts of the world, and anybody can buy a patch of pretty much anything both on ebay and on the street.

I seriously doubt that there was one lone SOF dude there, who just happened to have all his gear on him in case of an attack while he was grabbing a cinnabon at the mall.

Agree 100% on the conclusion this is a garbage article. Seriously disagree with the SOF conclusion. Most likely a contractor.

Reminds me of that HuffPo reporter that saw some earplugs on the ground and thought they were rubber bullets.
 
I seriously hope that no US “operator” would be caught wearing a pair of skinny jeans, like that guy in the picture...under any circumstances.

I seriously hope a US “operator” wears whatever kind of jeans he or she likes without concern for what some old folks in their armchairs think about his or her style choices while executing violent action in support of the American way of life.

What’s wrong with skinny jeans? Are they not masculine enough?

DD did a semester in China. Told Officer at Embassy that you could buy all Marine Corps uniforms and decorations at the "Mall". He said what else is new.

Me seeing a dude in khakis, a bug out bag, and combat boots getting off a strange looking airplane looking like a military guy trying not to look like a military guy. “What group are you with?” Bluster.
