I am eligable for a presidential nomination because my dad was in the air force for elevan years and is now on reserves. Can I be granted a presidential nomination to only my top choice service academy or can I be granted a presidential nomination to all academies that I am applying for?

If you qualify (the requirements are on the USNA website), the Pres nom works for all SAs for which a nom is required. You only apply once and the nom is non-competitive, meaning if you meet the requirements, you get one. Definitely still apply for MOC noms.

    spo,

You LIKELY are eligible if he had served 11 years on AD and is still active.

Have your dad printout his current "points list" and check for > 2880, then fill out the application, copy of his CAC, forwarding to the USNA.

This was actually one of the quickest hoops for my son. '85 nailed it, please, please continue with the MOC. My son had both, the MOC meant so much to him+us, esp when we got to meet her for lunch. What a neat day!

    Best of luck :thumb:
