If he’s Army, he should have chosen Princeton hands down. Army at Yale doesn’t work so well. Cross Town commute is very hard and it is definitely another stress you don’t need. New Haven neighborhood is a rough one early morning and evenings. Car break ins are common. Plus cannot beat Princeton beauty. Princeton’s campus beauty and safety is the best among the Ivies.

SPot on about Princeton. Of all the places we visited on my kids' college tour trips, Princeton stood out as a place I wanted to visit as a parent. That is a cool little village - though a little on the high end for this middle-class parent. Boston/Cambridge is also a great college area.
