This is my first post though I have been reading here for months. I have found comfort reading all the stories here. Thanks to you all!
This past week my son received the Principal Nominee from our congressman. He has also received the NROTC Scholarship. We are thrilled! His high school had a surprise ceremonial presentation of the nomination. It was very special. He broke his hand in wrestling practice about 2 weeks ago so his qualified medical is now on a remedial status. Question: Will the academy still make the appointment or will they wait until his physician has sent a letter to DODMERB releasing him from care? Are we in for more months of waiting for letters to navigate the channels?
