Has anyone received their PTR?
Nope in Utah.
Nope in CA
One of my friends is currently a youngster and he told me his friend is helping put together all the packets. He said they should be out within the next week!
Last year they were post-marked April 11
Just a heads up, I received the permit to report in the mail today. It was postmarked April 14.
Just received in the mail this evening. It's quite the packet.
Keep an eye out-we received today in the Bay Area of California.
It may seem overwhelming at first when you see the package. Take your time to review each document and follow the instructions carefully.
For the SF-86, I recommend saving a soft copy of your answers for each item safely and securely somewhere in the cloud that you can easily access later. Unless new changes are implemented, you will be told to submit it online AGAIN during this fall at the academy. Double and triple check if you have to: it is what your security clearance will be based on. For Cyber Ops majors, you are supposed to receive your full TS/SCI clearance by the fall semester of your second class year, if not sooner. Depends on your major and internship opportunities, you may even need to have your clearance fully adjudicated by the summer after your youngster year.
Learn to be thorough in handling your paperwork, and always keep a copy of EVERYTHING you submitted.
DS received his today.
None in KS. When should I hopefully receive this by? End of week?
We're in bay area as well, but nothing today.
Thanks for the inputs on this. It is much appreciated!
PTR came in today. Getting my clearance transferred so no SF86 for me
Good on you, Max! I doubt anyone else here has an adjudicated clearance like you do!
Yup...Came Monday. Post marked April 14. We're in CT btw.
As Ktnatalk said: Copy everything.
momofmod: Congratulations and enjoy the ride. It goes so fast. Daughter also from CT was Class of 2011. Get your EZ-Pass it will help. Fair Winds and Following Seas.
Still no PTR here in fly over country (Colorado)...at least through the snail mail delivery today...not a big deal, though
