Question About Joining ROTC

Hello everyone!

There was something I was wondering about with ROTC. Is it possible to join an ROTC unit at another college even though the school you currently attend is not a cross-town affiliate? For example, I am interested in attending Colorado School of Mines, and while it does not offer NROTC, CU Boulder does. Would it be possible for someone to be a student at Mines but be in NROTC at CU Boulder? Or would they have to attend CU Boulder or its cross-town affiliate to be able to join?

You cannot participate in the NROTC program from Colorado School of Mines. Must attend a host or an affiliate.
