Question on USMA admission

Hello, my DS received the admission offer from USMA last week. But he is still waiting for the result of Air Force Academy's admission. Does anyone know the last day that my DS accept USMA's admission offer?

Hello, my DS received the admission offer from USMA last week. But he is still waiting for the result of Air Force Academy's admission. Does anyone know the last day that my DS accept USMA's admission offer?

His appointment letter should tell him. 3 years ago, my DS's letter specified an April 15th deadline, which surprised us. We went back to USMA, asking it to be extended and they did extend it. The same year, USNA's deadline was May 1st.

Thank you so much. We have not received the BFE, but USMA portal indicated that my DS was received the admission offer from USMA. Once I receive the appointment letter through mail, I will find out the deadline. I hope that the deadline is 1 May 2018.

Chloe, did your MOC call DS prior to the notice showing up on the USMA portal?

Last year USMA was May 1 but USAFA was April 15. We scrambled to get out to CO Springs in early April [flew up directly from a shortened FL spring break trip.] DS did have both appointments by March ~9 if I recall, did an overnight at WP late March and toured USAFA 2 weeks later.

The 'standard' national college acceptance deadline is May 1 but SAs are under no obligation to follow that guideline.

Good luck !! It can be a stressful time between now and the commitment deadlines.

The offer of Admission has a must reply date on it. Have your DS print out the offer and it should be there.
