When do you guys think the portal should update today?

I think (correct me if I'm wrong) that in the past, the portal's updated ~9 AM ET

My DD’s class mate just got an update in his portal to accepted without the MOC call. Good thing since my DD hasn’t gotten a call either.

There is a thread about prepschool. The appointed candidates have until the 16th to claim their spot. After that those spots are released and the final USAFA 'wave' will go out. It will not be a big one. There will be some TWEs too. Then, from what I understand, if there are spots at prep still open, some of the remaining 150 will be offered a prep spot whime the remainder wait until the 21st. No actual knowledge. Only research. So I could be wrong. DS still waiting- TX.

My son never received a call from our MOC. He made the same assumption that the answer was “no” because he didn’t receive a call. He was wrong and had an appointment. Don’t count yourself out if you don’t hear from your MOC.

same here, i got a call about usma, but never received one about usafa.

They definitely do not always call, don't worry about that! It really depends on the MOC. My DS did not receive a call before his appointment on 3/20.

They sort of trickle out during the day. Folks were posting that the portal was updated while my DS still showed 100% complete. Finally, about 1300 central, the news changed. Just check back every few hours to see if anything happens.

You may not get one. Completely optional if elected official wants to call. They are given a few days’ notice before portal updates. Go add to appointment list! Congratulations!
