Hey guys I haven't posted yet, but I just have a few questions for those of you who have recieved appointments:

When you recieved your appointment, was it a blue envelope?
What were your SAT scores? I got an 1820 (650 reading, 570 Math, 600 Writing).

My parents got to my envelope before I could, but I think it was manilla. I didn't take the SAT, but I got a 34 ACT (35 Math, 33 English) and I know there are conversion sites out there.

It was in a manila envelope but the actual certificate was in a blue folder with the academy symbol on it.

I took the ACT as well and got 31 English and 31 Math.

Yep blue folder, very nice.
I took SAT, 640 CR, 760 M

However, as you could see from my scores, SAT/ACT is not the whole application. Just stop stressing; if you have already finished applying there's relatively nothing you could do anymore.
Just kick back and stalk the mailman.

For me, it was a big yellowish tan envelope, but the letter of appointment was in a heavy blue mini-folder type container with cardboard interior. The blue container along with another envelope was in the big tanish one.
I took SAT and ACT
SAT: 2090 (800M 620CR 670W)
ACT: 34 (35E 36M 33R 31S)

I also sent chemistry (750), physics (800), math II (780) but I don't know if they look at them.

Aside from the math portion of the SAT or ACT, I don't believe they stress standardized tests all the much.

In case your BGO has not discussed this with you before now, he/she will present your certificate to you at your school's awards assembly. It is something we truly enjoy doing, and a way to make it something more special. Also, it lets the underclassmen in your school know that it is attainable and worth working towards. Congratulations to those who have gotten a blue folder. Keep working on your fitness, and please don't take any foolish chances.

hey thanks guys. you all totally murdered my SAT scores, but I understand thats not the whole package
